2024 lamb prices are $500, including custom cutting and wrapping at Mountain Meat Packing in Craig, CO. Order prior to June 1st, and recieve $50 off! This $50 deposit will be deducted from your final order. Pay $50 now, pay $400 at pick-up.

 

Our lambs are humanely handled, pasture-raised, grass-fed, and grain-finished. Whole-lambs yield a minimum of 70 lbs. of meat. 2024 price is $500, and includes cutting and wrapping at Mountain Meat Processing in Craig, CO.

 

We offer two recommended cutting orders, and custom cutting orders are welcome.

 

4C Cutting Order

Legs:

  • 1 leg boned & rolled, and cut into 2 smaller, half roasts.
  • 1 leg cut into 1/2" leg stakes.

Shoulders:

  • boned, rolled roasts

Chops:

  • 3/4" lamb chops

Ribs:

  • SAVE

Grind:

  • 1/2 ground lamb
  • 1/2 lamb breakfast sausage

Shanks:

  • SAVE

Neck:

  • Roasts

 

Mountain Meats Standard Cutting Order

Legs:

  • 1 leg bone-in whole
  • 1 leg bone-in, cut in half

Shoulders:

  • 1 boned & rolled
  • 1 cut in steaks

Chops:

  • 1/2 - 3/4" lamb chops
  • 1/2 - French Rack

Ribs:

  • SAVE

Grind:

  • plain ground lamb

Shanks:

  • SAVE

Neck:

  • Roasts

  • Born and raised on native range, our lambs are provided with unlimited grass and forage. Our lambs are provided with grain supplementation for at least 30 days prior to butcher, resulting in superior flavor, marbling, and tenderness.

    Our product pricing is all inclusive. In other words, on whole and half lambs, the cost of processing and packaging is included.

    Whole lamb packages typically yield a minimum of 70 lbs. of meat, while a half lamb will yield a minimum of 35 lbs.
